Media Advisory Template (PDF - 240 KB)—This is a 2-page PDF document that provides a template for inviting media to a National Poison Prevention Week event. Check with your local Poison Center before distributing a media advisory.

Press Release Template (PDF - 260 KB) —This is a 2-page PDF file that provides a template for collaborating with your local Poison Center to create and distribute a local press release to interest media in your activities.

How to Distribute Radio Public Service Announcements (PDF - 260 KB) —This is a 2-page PDF file that contains scripts that radio DJs can read on air about National Poison Prevention Week. Some Poison Centers may distribute their own radio scripts, so contact your local Poison Center first before distributing these.

Many Poison Centers have established relationships with the offices of public officials in your community, so work with your Poison Center to see how you can help secure a proclamation to declare the third full week of March as National Poison Prevention Week.
